Day by day, we rhyme with our seasons.
It's tremendous how many feelings we can feel in only one day. Well, at least for me. Very few times do we feel raw emotions, and often they're because of very drastic things. But today I felt tiredness, nostalgia, nervousness, indecisiveness, melancholy, peacefulness, dread, triumph, success, happiness, a pinch of anger, bliss, all in a short span of 24 hours, maybe less or maybe more. If you just allow yourself to be conscious about your feelings; you'll realize raw emotion practically does not exist. That sadness is always followed by a bit of hope, even if you're in the deepest of trenches, by a small little catch of sunlight that keeps you from smoothing your hands over to antidepressants and keeps your head held up high even if it hurts. And that happiness is always accompanied by the bittersweet taste of despair, where you know, deep inside, that all good things must come to a close, that all laughs must stop and all smiles must lose their shine. Just like every life must meet its death. But after all, isn't that what makes it all so damn exiting?
